Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 5 - Mt Wellington

As we drove down Pinnacle Road we saw more of Wellington Range. You can imagine the magma cooling on the surface millions of years ago and the forming rocks shrinking and cracking. They formed these large vertical columns with polygonal crosssections. The most striking are those called the Organ Pipes (bottom photo).
